Science Fair

Science Fair
March 14 and 15 - 4th grade will present on March 15

The requirements for the science fair are broken into three parts: a project display, a written report, and an oral presentation. Please use the attached Science Experiment Form to guide you in this process.

Project Display:
  • This will be done completely at home.
  • Please allow your student to put their best work into this project with minimal parent help.
  • Examples: model, diorama, poster, costume, artifact display, working experiment, etc.
  • Displays must be brought to class no later than March 12.


Written Report:
  • One to two pages
  • Include each step used in your experiment and how it was used: Question, Hypothesis, Materials, Procedures, Results and Conclusion, Resources used
  • 6-8 sentences per paragraph
  • Please hold on to all research used for this report, as it will be turned in with the report.
  • Rough draft will be due on 2nd.


Oral Presentation:
  • Two to three minutes in length
  • Explanation of experiment or project
  • There will be some time to work on this in class.
  • Fourth grade will present on March 15.
