Science Fair
March 14 and 15 - 4th grade will present on March 15
The requirements for the science fair are broken into three parts: a project display, a written report, and an oral presentation. Please use the attached Science Experiment Form to guide you in this process.
Project Display:
- This will be done completely at home.
- Please allow your student to put their best work into this project with minimal parent help.
- Examples: model, diorama, poster, costume, artifact display, working experiment, etc.
- Displays must be brought to class no later than March 12.
Written Report:
- One to two pages
- Include each step used in your experiment and how it was used: Question, Hypothesis, Materials, Procedures, Results and Conclusion, Resources used
- 6-8 sentences per paragraph
- Please hold on to all research used for this report, as it will be turned in with the report.
- Rough draft will be due on 2nd.
Oral Presentation:
- Two to three minutes in length
- Explanation of experiment or project
- There will be some time to work on this in class.
- Fourth grade will present on March 15.
