Newsletter 10/3/11

Dear Parents,

I am very excited about the field trip this Friday. It will be very fun and educational for the students. I do still need one or two more drivers depending on size of the car. We will depart for the field trip after chapel on Friday, about 10:30 am and will leave the airport at 1:30 pm. Please remember to pack your student a lunch on Friday, as we will eat lunch on the patio at Paradise Helicopters.
If you are able to drive, please let me know by phone or email, because I will need to have you fill out some paperwork in order to drive. Thank you for your help.
We are kicking off our International Day endeavors today. If you haven’t heard, our country this year is England. It should be a fun country for this year, because it has been in the news a lot with the Royal Wedding and the Olympics this coming summer. If you would like to assist in any aspect of International Day (recipes, crafts, dance, song, banner, costumes, etc.) let me know.
Once again, you may contact me any time by phone or email. My phone number is 720.560.6399. My email is tgoerzen@gmail.com.

Blessings.

9/19/11 Newsletter

Dear Parents,

It was great to see those of you who made it out to back-to-school night. If you didn’t make it and have any questions or comments for me, feel free to contact me be phone or email. Not much news this week:

The field trip has been pushed back and will hopefully be on October 6 or 7. I am waiting for a confirmation email. We will take a trip to the airport to see the helicopters at Paradise Helicopters. It should be a wonderful time for all the students.

Once again, I have updated the fourth grade website. It is accessible either through the school’s website or at mrgoerzensfourthgrade.blogspot.com. I will be posting our newsletters as well as important info on the website.

As always, feel free to contact me at any point. My email is tgoerzen@gmail.com. My phone number is 720.560.6399.

Blessings.

Welcome!

The first two weeks of Fourth Grade have been wonderful. I am so excited for the rest of the year.

As you already know, any homework the fourth graders have will be listed on their homework sheet that you sign every night.

Fridays will be big test days, so help your student to study on Thursday nights especially.

Thanks so much for all your help.
